Chancel Choir
Chancel Choir is open to teen-agers and adults wishing to take a leadership role in worship through music and share their gift of music. They also serve as the core choir at the once monthly Candlelight Evening Prayer Services with music in the style of Taize.

The choir sings Sundays at the 10:30 a.m. service from mid-September through May and rehearses Thursdays at 7:15 -8:30 pm.  Taize services are on Thursdays at 6:00 pm, October through April.
Casual Choir
Casual choir meets at 11:45 on selected Sundays, and sings for worship. As the name implies, this is a casual group that enjoys getting together around the piano in the sanctuary following worship, and singing occasionally during the Sunday service.
Messiah Choir
St. John’s Music Ministry has a renowned tradition of singing, from  the Christmas portion of Handel’s Messiah (Part 1) as spiritual preparation during the Advent season, to Vivaldi's Gloria and other well-known works. The 45-voice choir, soloists and chamber orchestra provide spiritual enrichment and renewal to all those in attendance.  The Chancel Choir serves as the core group for this expanded choir. Guest singers are welcome!  Please register in advance to sing in the choir.
